Warehouse Operative – Part-Serv

Job Type – Permanent, Full Time
Location – Yaxley, Peterborough
Working days – Monday to Friday
Working Hours – Flexible – 25 to 35 hours per week
Salary – £10.50 – £11.50 p/h

Part-Serv are a wholesale provider of truck, trailer, and tail lift spares, and we are currently looking to recruit a warehouse operative, to join our ever-growing team. As a warehouse operative, you will play a critical role in ensuring all orders are accurately picked, packed, and despatched to our valued customers, as well as ensuring goods in are counted in and stored accurately.

The successful candidate will predominantly be responsible for the following:

• Goods Inwards – Accurately counting goods inwards and storing them away in correct stock locations.
• Goods Out – Ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, and despatched in a timely and accurate manner.
• Shipping – Ensuring the correct labelling of orders for despatch via third party couriers.
• Stock Checking – Carrying out accurate stock checks on various stores and mobile engineer van stock.
• Warehousing – Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe warehouse at all times.
• Collections – Collecting orders from local suppliers using a company provided vehicle.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic and will have an eye for detail. At times you will be expected to work independently, so you will need to be proactive and self-motivated. Full training for the role will be provided, however any prior experience of working within a warehouse environment or the truck & trailer parts industry will be highly beneficial to your application. A full UK driving licence is essential for the role.
